Privacy and Data Protection
We take everyone’s privacy very seriously. We simply do not conduct work that involves the invasion of anyone’s privacy and we do not accept assignments if we think privacy is at risk. We do not and will not sell on any data to third parties. We fully understand that whilst we are filming, people may feel concerned that we have captured images that might infringe their privacy. We can guarantee that if any footage does compromise privacy then it will have been done without any intention and when ever we review our footage, should we find any imagery that compromises someone’s data or privacy, then we delete it immediately. However, we also believe in being utterly transparent so if you have any queries regarding the footage we have taken then please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we will do what ever we can to allay your concerns including showing you all of the footage if we can. When we fly to gain imagery, we tend to use wide angle lenses and the camera is very seldom static otherwise the shots tend to loose their impact. From a data protection perspective this means that when the public are within the field of view of the camera, they tend to be small, very hard to identify and the time in frame is limited to a couple of seconds or so. If we are surveying, the camera is usually trained on the point of interest and due to the depth of field with our lenses and the distances we keep from the public during flight, identification is difficult.
